Finish article of the week. Share articles at your tables.

  1. Provide your article title and journalist name.
  2. Summarize what the article is about.
  3. Include why you chose the article.

Model:

I read “Harper gives Poilievre vote of confidence” by Stephanie Levitz. The article is about a speech that Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper gave at the True North Strong and Free Conservative Conference last Wednesday. Harper’s speech provided a historical summary of the conservative movement in Canada and some advice to current leader, Pierre Poilievre. I choose this article because I follow Canadian politics and I know that Harper has not made many public speeches since he lost power in 2015. I was curious to know when, where, and why he was now.
